Two Bayou Volunteer Fire Department serves the community with dedication, training, and a commitment to protect life and property when every second counts.
Two Bayou Volunteer Fire Department is made up of neighbors serving neighbors. We are a volunteer department built on duty, teamwork, and the understanding that when the call comes in, the community is counting on us to answer.
Our department responds to a range of emergencies and service calls, working to protect homes, land, equipment, and lives across the area we serve. From active fire response to support operations and public communication, every role helps keep the department moving forward.

We respond to reported structure fires, grass fires, wildfire incidents, smoke investigations, and related emergency calls.
The department also responds to motor vehicle accidents, public assistance calls, lift assists, gas leak calls, and other service needs.
When needed, we work alongside neighboring departments and agencies to support a stronger emergency response across the area.
From fire protection information to public notices and department updates, we work to keep the community informed and connected.

Chief
Chief Lance Teague leads the department with a focus on service, readiness, and protecting the community. His role helps guide the department’s response, direction, and continued growth.
Firefighter / EMS Focus
Carl is known for being strong at the end of a hose and for continuing to build his EMS education. He brings both fireground effort and a steady commitment to learning.
Lieutenant / Mechanic / Welder / Pumper
Butch helps keep the department ready in more ways than one. From mechanical work and welding to pump operations and leadership, he is a key part of keeping equipment and operations running.
Communications / Media Support
Doc supports the department through communications, social media, multimedia, and video, drawing from a radio engineering and broadcast background to help keep the department visible and connected.
Fire protection memberships help support the department and the work it takes to stay ready. Community support helps keep service strong today while building for tomorrow.
